About Dr. Anne Marie Palzer

I received my bachelor’s degree from the College of St. Benedict, St. Joseph MN in 1998, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a major in Theology. I graduated from the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, AZ in 2004 and have been in practice as a naturopathic doctor since then.

I became a Doula in 2001 while in Naturopathic school and  knew then that midwifery would be a main focus in my practice. After  2 years as an apprentice with both a naturopathic doctor who does  homebirths , and at Casa de Nacimiento, a birth center in EL Paso, TX, I became a Certified Professional Midwife in March 2006.

I am the mother of 3 children, all of whom have their own unique birth stories. This is me with one of my babies (pictured right.)
