About Dr. Anne Marie Palzer
Though I no longer provide home-birth services, my practice now focuses on serving my community as a naturopathic care provider for all ages and conditions. Using herbal medicine, homeopathy, nutritional and supplement recommendations, I customize treatment plans based on an individual’s needs. My goal for any person is to stimulate their own healing potential using these and other natural healing methods.
I received my bachelor’s degree from the College of St. Benedict, St. Joseph MN in 1998. I graduated from the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, AZ in 2004 and have been in practice as a naturopathic doctor since then.
I became a Doula in 2001 while in Naturopathic school and knew then that midwifery would be a main focus in my practice. After 2 years as an apprentice with both a naturopathic doctor who does homebirths , and at Casa de Nacimiento, a birth center in EL Paso, TX, I became a Certified Professional Midwife in March 2006.
